THE “N-WORD” SLUR
MEDIA OF PREJUDICE
“Nigger” is arguably the most divisive and notorious word in the history of the English language. What does it mean to be a Nigger? Nigger, Negro, Colored, Black, African-American have the same meaning but in today’s society they have all come to mean very different things. Before the early 1900s, the word “nigger”, which refers to black people was simply used to mean a black person and was not considered racist. Today, it is often treated as a racist insult and the old term “black” was disliked and replaced with the word “colored”. It’s the offensive slur that is mainly used by white supremacists as a prejudicial to African Americans of slave origin. “Nigger” has become so taboo in the United States that some people don’t use the word; they instead call it the “N-word”.
No American group has endured as many racial nicknames as Blacks: coon, tom, savage, pickaninny, mammy, buck, samba, jigaboo, buckwheat etc.. Whether used as a noun, verb, or adjective, “nigger” strengthened the stereotype of the lazy, stupid, dirty, worthless nobody. This fully traditional pseudo-scientific, literary, cinematic of anti-Black prejudice appear in caricatures, whether spoken, written, or reproduced in media and material objects to reflect the vast extent of this network. It was created a racial hierarchy with Whites at the top and Blacks at the bottom.
DEFINEED ALIENS BY IMMANUEL KANT
The Jews were not only destined for their perceived Oriental nature, but also for their propinquity to black Africans. In Immanuel Kant’s theologically infused vision of the world’s racial hierarchy, only white men were capable of realizing their full potential as rational, autonomous humans. The white supremacy actualized the true spirit of Christianity that he saw as the bedrock of Western civilization. At the bottom of the racial hierarchy, he positioned “the Negroes of Africa,” whom he viewed, as a race, as “lazy, indolent and dawdling.” The Jews fell somewhere in between, but instigated a greater threat than black people because of their status as aliens within Europe, which threatened to impede the realization of the white man’s full human potential.”
He was a German philosopher and one of the central enlightenment thinkers in the 17th and 18th centuries. Man can have the ability to think for oneself and understand the world through rational inquiry. Individuals from across cultures, religions, and geographies can come to the same conclusion about fundamental human questions. He could be the first man initiating the background on which mind control can be entirely done by man. These enlightenment principles of autonomy, reason, and universality complied with Judaism. He was baptized Emanuel but later changed the spelling of his name to Immanuel after learning Hebrew.
THE “N-WORD” TO MARXISTS AND ZIONISTS
In his letters to Friedrich Engels, for example, Karl Marx, the grandson of rabbis, repeatedly referred to his socialist adversary Ferdinand Lassalle born Jewish as a “Jewish nigger” as a way to debase his character and his ideas. Lassalle carried out a career as a political agitator, traveling around Germany, giving speeches and writing pamphlets in an attempt to organize and rouse the working class. He tried to make the working class break with the liberals. Lassalle and Marx became friends during the Revolutions of 1848. When the protests were crushed, Lassalle was imprisoned and Marx fled Germany.
The Jewish status of a person is considered a matter of ‘nationality’ by the Israeli authorities today. Belief in the principles of Judaism does not make one a Jew but the immediate descendants of all female Jews even apostates are still considered to be Jews. Those not born to a Jewish mother may become accepted as Jews by the Orthodox and Conservative communities through a formal process of conversion to Judaism in order to become “righteous converts”. The ideology of Israel is Zionism and Zionists believe in Judaism. Arab states actually pushed through a UN General Assembly resolution labeling Zionism “a form of racism and racial discrimination” in 1975, though it was revoked in 1991. “Israeli society is sick, and it is our duty to treat this disease,” Reuven Rivlin, president of Israel, told a group of Israeli academics in 2014.
Racism in Israel refers to racism directed against Israeli Arabs by Israeli Jews. The Jewish population in Israel comprises all Jewish diaspora communities, including Ashkenazi Jews, Sephardi Jews, Mizrahi Jews, Beta Israel, Cochin Jews, Bene Israel, Karaite Jews, and many other groups. Among the Jewish population, over 25% of the schoolchildren and over 35% of all newborns are of mixed ancestry of both Ashkenazi and Sephardi/Mizrahi descent, which increases by 0.5% each year. Over 50% of the Jewish population is of at least a partial Sephardi/Mizrahi descent. Arab may be broadly defined as a pan-ethnic linguistic group that includes various religions mainly Christians, Muslims, Jews, and Druze, spread principally across Northern Africa and the Middle East. Every Jewish community, be it large or small, has its own history with its personalities, scholars, benefactors, and—cranks.
A small Kehillah with no more than 50 to 100 families have often been written and form a valuable part of Jewish history. For instance, until now history has been confirmed that London, as the capital of the British Empire, as the centre of the world’s commerce, soon after the readmission of the Jews in 1650. The first settlers were Sephardim and a small Ashkenazi community were there found as early as the year 1659. Most of the Ashkenazi settlers of that time hailed from Germany only very few from Poland.
NO ASHINA NO KHAZARS NO ASHKENAZIC JEWS
During the sixth century, these nomadic people were ruled by a Siberian Turkic tribe called the Ashina. They were forced by the Chinese Tang Empire – who were in power in China at the time – to migrate westwards toward the Black Sea. Thanks to their organizational and military skills, the Ashina united many tribes in this area – and a new empire called the “Khazar Khaganate” was born. The Khazars had a great history of ethnic independence extending approximately 800 years from the 5th to the 13th century. The Khazars converted to Talmud-based Judaism, learned Hebrew and Slavic; then created Yiddish..
King Bulan adopted Judaism in approximately the year 838. By the 10th century, the Khazars wrote using Hebrew letters. Khazaria included the geographic regions of southern Russia, northern Caucasus, eastern Ukraine, Crimea, western Kazakhstan, and northwestern Uzbekistan. In 965, Rus Prince Svyatoslav conquered the Khazar fortress of Sarkel. Despite the loss of their nation, the Khazar people did not disappear. Many of them converted to Islam and survived in the North Caucasus and Central Asian regions under new identities. This led to the Ashkenazic Jews splitting into two groups – some remaining in the Caucasus and others migrating into eastern Europe and Germany. The two groups still called themselves Ashkenazic Jews, however the name Ashkenaz became more strongly associated with Germany and the European group – for whom Yiddish became their primary language.
The Yiddish language – which consists of Hebrew, German, Slavic elements and is written in Aramaic – has been spoken at least since the 9th century AD. Although the language adopted a German vocabulary it retained its Slavic grammar – which is why Yiddish is often referred to as “bad German”. The ancient Ashkenazic Jews were merchants who developed Yiddish as a secret language – with 251 words for “buy” and “sell” – to maintain their monopoly. By the 8th century the words “Jew” and “merchant” were practically synonymous, and it was around this time that Ashkenazic Jews began relocating from ancient Ashkenaz to the Khazar Empire to expand their mercantile operations.
Recent DNA analysis of Ashkenazic Jews – a Jewish ethnic group – revealed that their maternal line is European. It has also been found that their DNA only has 3% ancient ancestry which links them with the Eastern Mediterranean (also known as the Middle East) – namely Israel, Lebanon, parts of Syria, and western Jordan. But 3% is a minuscule amount or genetic ancestry link is so low; Ashkenazic Jews’ most recent ancestors must be from elsewhere. The Asian group of these DNA mutations, found in Ashkenazic Jews, likely originated from the Ashina elite and other Khazar clans. This means that the Ashina and core Khazar clans were absorbed by the Ashkenazic Jews.
THE JEWS BY BLOOD OR JUDAISM
The name Sephardi means “Spanish” or “Hispanic”, derived from Sepharad. Sephardi Jewish communities were established in the Iberian Peninsula, modern Spain and Portugal; and largely expelled from the Iberian Peninsula in the late 15th century. They carried a distinctive Jewish diasporic identity with them to North Africa, including modern day Morocco, Algeria, Tunisia, Libya, and Egypt; South-Eastern and Southern Europe, including France, Italy, Greece, Bulgaria, North Macedonia and Turkey; the Middle East, including Lebanon, Syria, Iraq, and Iran; as well as the Americas. Historically, the vernacular languages of Sephardim and their descendants have been variants of either Spanish or Portuguese. Defining Jews by blood descent is consistent with the Nazi definition of a Jew, rather than the traditional concept of a Jew as someone who follows Judaism.
Ferdinand and Isabella’s Spain led the inquisition in which a Jew was identified as such by religion, and therefore would cease to be a Jew if she converted. Ferdinand and Isabel revived a long dormant medieval institution when they received permission from Pope Sixtus IV in1478 to name inquisitors in the cities and dioceses of their domain. The Spanish Inquisition established permanent tribunals in major towns and cities, developed a large bureaucracy to carry out investigations in most communities, and permeated all areas of human life, both private and public.
Franciscan missionaries carried the Inquisition to the New World, where it ran headlong into the clash between Iberian Catholicism and Native American beliefs. Over half of Spain’s Jews had converted in the 14th century as a result of the religious persecution. Between 200,000 and 250,000 Jews converted to Catholicism and between one third and one half of Spain’s remaining 100,000 non-converted Jews chose exile.
In order to distinguish Mizrahi Jews in the Jewish sub-ethnicities, Israeli officials, who themselves were mostly Eastern European Jews, transferred this name to them. The transferring of the name “Mizrahim” was a form of depiction of aspects in the Eastern world. Nowadays, the term Mizrahim is exclusively applied to descendants of Jews from the Middle East and North Africa; communities such as Babylonian Jews from modern Iraq and Kurdistan, Syrian Jews, Yemenite Jews, and Persian Jews from Iran; Also descendants of Maghrebi Jews and Sephardi Jews, who had lived in North African countries, such as Egypt, Libya, Tunisia, Algeria, and Morocco, the Sephardi Jewish communities of Turkey, and the Jewish Levantine communities of Lebanon and Syria. These various Jewish communities were first grouped into a single ethnic identity officially in the Jewish Agency’s 1944. As of 2005, 61% of Israeli Jews were of full or partial Mizrahi ancestry.
Beta Israel also known as Ethiopian Jews are a Jewish community that developed and lived for centuries in the area of the Kingdom of Aksum and the Ethiopian Empire, which is currently divided between the modern-day Amhara and Tigray regions of Ethiopia. Most of the community emigrated to Israel in the late 20th century. By the end of 2008, there were 119,300 people of Ethiopian descent in Israel, including nearly 81,000 people born in Ethiopia and about 38,500 native-born Israelis (about 32 percent of the community) with at least one parent born in Ethiopia or Eritrea, formerly part of Ethiopia.
Cochin Jews are the oldest group of Jews in India, now part of the state of Kerala. Following their expulsion from Iberia in 1492 by the Alhambra Decree, a few families of Sephardi Jews eventually made their way to Cochin in the 16th century. They became known as Paradesi Jews or Foreign Jews. After India gained its independence in 1947 and Israel was established as a nation, most of the Malabar Jews made Aliyah and emigrated from Kerala to Israel in the mid-1950s. In contrast, most of the Paradesi Jews (Sephardi in origin) preferred to migrate to Australia and other Commonwealth countries .
The Bene Israel are a community of Jews in India. In the 19th century they tended to migrate to Mumbai, Pune, Ahmedabad, India; and Karachi, in today’s Pakistan. In the early part of the twentieth century, many Bene Israel became active in the new film industry, as actresses and actors, producers and directors. After India gained its independence in 1947, and Israel was established in 1948, most Bene Israel emigrated to Israel, Canada and other Commonwealth countries and the United States. Rabbis refused to marry Bene Israel to other Jews, on grounds that they were not legitimate Jews under Orthodox law. In 1964 the Israeli Rabbinate ruled that the Bene Israel are “full Jews in every respect”.
Karaite Jews did not accept the Talmud but they were still Jews and responsible for the crucifixion of Jesus and thus subject to the laws. After the Bolshevik Revolution of 1917, Karaite religious schools and places of worship were the very first religious institutions closed by the Soviet government. They were regarded as Turkic descendants of the Khazars and not as Jews. Several hundred such books have been written by various Karaite Ḥakhamim-sages throughout the movement’s history, although most are lost today. Their prayer books are composed almost completely of biblical passages.
Karaite Jews often practice full prostration during prayers, while most other Jews no longer pray in this fashion. Karaite Judaism follows patrilineal descent, meaning a Jew is either someone whose father is Jewish (since almost all Jewish descent in the Tanakh is traced patrilineally) or both of whose parents are Jews, or one who has undergone a formal conversion which entails circumcision for uncircumcised males and formally accepting the God of Israel as one’s own God and the people of Israel as one’s own people. In Israel, the Karaite Jewish leadership is directed by a group called Universal Karaite Judaism. Most of the members of its Board of Ḥakhamim are of Egyptian Jewish descent. The largest Karaite community today resides in Ashdod.
